| supporting a spouse. |
My husband is going through treatment for PTSD. He has become increasingly needy of my attention. He is anxious about the simplest things like calling his Mom or Son.
I dont know how Im supposed to react, how much I can push for him to do what he needs to do or just comfort him and make excuses to the family.
No one in the family is aware of his treatment. |

I am going through PTSD, & please tell your family & friends, so they can understand what is going on, & you to need the support, don't try & do this on your own.
take care |

| get help for you |
| I'm also going throug a touch patch with PTSD. You absolutely need your own support. I wouldn't push him personally. Let his therapist handle that. You might end up with results from the stress both of you are not ready for. I know I have a very difficult time picking up the phone and calling anyone. Even if it's my mom or a good friend. Be supportive, and yet make sure both of you are getting the right kind of help. |
