After setting up a Government helpline for young people (Connexions) suffering from abuse, suicidal thoughts, drugs, bullying, sexual awareness and trauma, I studied Counselling skills through a number of open college courses. I then joined Cruse Bereavement Care after completing their training seeing clients and receiving Supervision. I now train new Bereavement Counsellors in face to face and Telephone counselling. More recently training Supervisors for Cruse. I have continued my study achieving an advanced Diploma in Mindfulness CBT, Professional Counselling skills, certificate in Psychology, Counselling practitioners certificate L1, L2,L3 and advanced. I have gained CPDcertificates in lifting Depression, Rewind technique for PTSD amongst others. I now deliver training on Bereavement awareness and counselling techniques to the Armed Forces. I am an active Counsellor supporting the Ambulance Services and Armed Forces helping people with depression, anxiety, stress, Bereavement and PTSD via face to face and telephone.
