I received my BA in psychology from Syracuse University in 1969. Shortly after I married and moved to California where we raised two children and I ran the family business after my father passed away. In 1996 I enrolled in the Masters degree program for clinical psychology at Pepperdine University and graduated with honors in 1998. I did my 3000 hour internship and became licensed in January 2000.
Since then I have been treating individuals, couples, and teens in a private practice settting. I have continued with my education, studying the work of John Gottman, Albert Ellis, David Siegel, and other experts in the fields of relationships, communication, and mindfulness.
I also have extensive training in coaching through Coachville, Coaching U, Chloe Madanes and Tony Robbins.
My passion for guiding and helping couples and individuals find their best selves and realize their potential has never waned.
After 20+years in private practice I yearn to branch out and serve a wider audience. To share my knowledge and passion with as many people as I can. I believe online therapy can help me do that.
