I work with individuals and couples Helping Them to Help Themselves work through issues that are keeping them stuck. Firstly I like to understand a client(s) map of their World so that I can join them in it ( as best I can) before Secondly helping them to unravel and deal with the events that lead to their issues and then Thirdly supporting them to integrate a new way of thinking back into the practical World. I work with most issues such as depression, anxiety, addiction, personality disorders as well as relationships using a variety of approaches to fit each client.

I believe that everyone is different and therefore I don’t subscribe to a “one size fits all” type of therapy. Counselling can seem a scary thing to some but my style of counselling is conversational and relaxed so that clients can feel at ease when unpacking difficult issues. Added into the mix I also seek to inform and empower so that clients can take the skills learnt forward into the next chapters of their lives.
