About Me

My passion is helping people. My career started solely supporting children and families. After several years, I started to transition into couples and then individual therapy.
My goal is to help people find the best version of themselves and creat achievable goals to get to that point. Often times, intense trauma and past experiences prevent people from unlocking their capacity to live a healthy, happy life.
Whether the obstacle is within your relationship or within yourself, I work with each person to develop a plan based on their individual experiences. There is no story that is not unique and no story that anyone should be ashamed of.
The hardest part about therapy is deciding to go and then actually showing up. Once those two obstacles are overcome, it is important to acknowledge the achievement and not downplay the events in your life that you have not only experienced but also overcome.
I look forward to helping clients both work through past experiences as well as move forward to set goals for themselves in the future.

"I've been working with Kate Pearson & online-therapy for 3+ months before writing this review. Kate Pearson has extensive, appropriate, & thoughtful comments on the worksheets. Video sessions are excellent. The CBT workbooks & worksheets provide a structure that is adapted to my needs. Initializing the video connections are less than perfect, but once connected it works well. It has been difficult to reschedule failed connections, but they compensated me for a two of them."
