The way I see it, counselling is a journey we take together. My role is to be with you on that journey - to uncover what is at the root of your distress, to explore the old patterns you’re still holding onto, and to focus on your strengths and resiliency moving forward.
Many people struggle with mental and emotional health. Be it trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, or simply a sense of not being fully alive; you are not alone. You are not the only one suffering and struggling. You are not the only one who feels disconnected from your true self. And I am here to support you.
I have a Master's in Counselling Psychology and am a Canadian Certified Counsellor. I have experience working with individuals who struggle with significant trauma and symptoms of PTSD. I have also worked in crisis settings, run group therapy programs, and provided support for relationship violence and conflict. I also have experience working with teens and adolescents, individuals who identify as non-binary, and folks who are struggling with gender identity and transition.
I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals to live in greater alignment with their true selves. Throughout our lives, we receive many messages from our families and society that influence the ways we perceive ourselves. I’m committed to helping you explore the beliefs and expectations that no longer serve you to discern who you really are, and want to become.
No subscription required, though I am happy to follow the subscription program offered here! I am open to working with you however fits for you online or offline. If this feels like the right fit for you, please get in touch. I look forward to connecting with you. In-person sessions are also available in Victoria, BC.
