Rose Walker

I have a master of art in counseling from Webster University. I am very person centered, believing that clients are the experts of their own life and my job is to help them get to where they want to get. I have worked in community mental health, private practice and inpatient substance use. I have worked with individuals, families and groups as well. I can teach coping skills, I am trained in CBT, EMDR and TF-CBT. I have a passion for helping others. I want to be your advocate your cheerleader, your guide through the darkest times and all through your struggles. Life is hard, you dont have to do it alone. I am here for you, to listen, to help, to guide, to teach. I am working on getting my certificate in play therapy and I always work on learning all I can, taking more CEUs then needed for my license then I need, so that I can be the best therapist that I can. I also know several somatic (body-based) techniques to help with releasing emotions and lowering your anxiety. I will be learning brainspotting as well this year.
