About Me

I have a PhD in Forensic Psychology and a Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy to which I am licensed.

I specialize anxiety, depression, panic attack, stress, anger management, insomnia, relationship, family issues, procrastination, self esteem, trauma and more. I work with individuals and families to achieve stabilization and prevent symptom re-emergence. My goal is to help individuals and families navigate the challenges of life while identifying their life's purpose.

Mental health and well-being is just as important as physical health. Declines in mental health can lead to obesity, ineffective work performance, missed work days, alcohol/substance abuse issues, irritable/depressed mood, etc. Moods fall along a scale between mania and depression which we all shift between. However, for some people our moods tend to stay along the low end, depression, or the remain at the high end, mania. Healthy moods lie somewhere along the middle of the scale. 2020 has been challenging year for many different reasons, the pandemic, racial unrest, etc. It's time to take control of our mental health and well-being!

"Originally, I came here because I was just looking for an online therapist to talk to, but when I found this site, I realized it's a whole platform with research-based information you can learn about in your own time. I'm actually more excited about learning from the worksheets and exercises. But having someone to talk to is just a bonus. And I also love that it also comes with yoga videos. I may be experiencing a placebo effect, but I'm feeling happier already just after 3 weeks of finding this service! Haha"

"Learning to control my anger and my other feelings. I have a very good therapist who is helping me find my way Home. I am very happy with this program I realize I need to take it slow in order to gain the most out of the course and in order to only need to take the course once I need to work the program not just read the stuff and move on but work the program everyday. And that’s the hard part nobody said change was easy."

"I like the concept of online therapy. Initially it was hard to understand the flow with my therapist but we are getting there. I don’t love that everything is online. I really wish there was an app and ways to print worksheet because I like to write and not type. Having to sign on and only receive notifications by email is annoying. I like my therapist a lot though. She legit!"

"I have tried other therapy platforms and decided to stick with onlline-therapy because having a structure in place gives me hope. I enjoy filling out the worksheets and learning all about myself from watching the CBT videos that are available. I like that my therapist checks my work and leaves a comment for me to see her feedback. I also like the accountability I get from my therapist because she reminds me to fill out the worksheets if I take too long. The only downside is that the weekly calls I get with my therapist is only 30 mins. It would be much more helpful to have a 45 mins session (at the very least). Overall, I have high hopes from this platform and I look forward to being a different person by the end of the year."
