Amanda Christian

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Field Traumatologist in the state of Oklahoma. I have seven years experience working with substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders. I believe that healing requires authentic connection, so I am deeply invested in building and maintaining a strong therapeutic relationship. I use a relational-cultural approach in therapy and provide client-centered treatment. I am trained to use a wide variety of theoretical and therapeutic models and I am often referred to as an "eclectic" therapist. I have experience working with adults in inpatient, outpatient, and private practice. I am certified with the International Association of Trauma Professionals (IATP) as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am certified with the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology as a Field Traumatologist, Compassion Fatigue Therapist, and Compassion Fatigue Educator. I truly enjoy helping people heal and it's a tremendous honor to be able to do what I love every day.
