"So far I've really enjoyed my time with Online Therapy.com... I've had 2 therapy sessions and my therapist is super sweet and quite flexible in terms of what we talk about. That being said, this whole program has more structure to it than any traditional therapy I've done in the past. The worksheets are genuinely challenging and make you take a good look in the mirror, and I think that's helpful for people who find themselves using therapy as a place to vent instead of also using it as a place to grow/change behaviours."

"I have been so impressed with online-therapy.com! There are payment plans to offer affordability. There are so many tools to access, from the journal, to being able to live video or speak with your therapist over the phone. I love the worksheets that are part of the program. They have been most helpful. I added this on at a time I wanted to start working on other things that had really bothered me over the years and I was ready to work on. Then tragedy struck and I was literally in crisis. My therapist is kind, compassionate and understanding. She was there when I felt like my world had been ripped out from underneath me. I don't know what I would have done had I not had Joyce on board. I truly feel this platform goes above and beyond any other websites I looked into. "I have tried other therapy platforms and decided to stick with onlline-therapy because having a structure in place gives me hope. I enjoy filling out the worksheets and learning all about myself from watching the CBT videos that are available. I like that my therapist checks my work and leaves a comment for me to see her feedback. I also like the accountability I get from my therapist because she reminds me to fill out the worksheets if I take too long. The only downside is that the weekly calls I get with my therapist is only 30 mins. It would be much more helpful to have a 45 mins session (at the very least). Overall, I have high hopes from this platform and I look forward to being a different person by the end of the year."

"I prefer online therapy because I become too anxious in person and can't seem to focus as deeply as I need to. I also enjoy having daily responses and being able to type out my feelings to my therapist knowing she'll see it the next day or even later on that same day. Behavioral therapy is so much deeper than talk therapy alone, it dives into EXACTLY what thought processes are driving your negative behavior and then your therapist helps you to move past and cope in a healthy way. I find I'm very comfortable being honest and open with my therapist and have felt so welcomed and accepted by her. I really can't think of any therapy service that offers the extensive library of resources for patients while charging only $240 a month for the standard plan."

"I'm so grateful that I found this Online-Therapy Program. Each section has taught me the tools to use to help me overcome my problems.

As listed in my intro...I suffer from many different problems. Problems that I have been trying to cope with and understand for a very long time now but have never had the ability to overcome them.

Each section helped me work towards the next. In the end... I completed the program feeling so optimistic and proud of myself. I haven't felt this way about myself for so long now. Prior to the program I was just spiraling down hill with one problem and challenge after another. I had a difficult time sorting things out and learning to focus on one thing at a time. Well the truth is that I didn't realize how crucial it is to work with one situation at a time. I kept looking at everything at one time and it became so overwhelming that I felt like giving up.

I feel proud now of who I am. I know I'm a good person that deserves great things in life. Unfortunately in the past I used my energy and time only dwelling on the bad things. My energy was being drained to the point I felt no return and I felt helpless. I no longer believed in myself and each challenge I had to face only confirmed my life's prospective that I wasn't meant to have a happy life.

Now I have found the spirit that I have been lacking for most of my life. I'm amazed at the outcome of this program. I would have never imagined that I would come this far from an online therapy program. But I have, I can honestly say I truly have.

I would like to give my therapist, Katrina a huge thank you for making this happen for me. Katrina continued to give me the guidance needed to move forward and grow. She is very caring, understanding and her guidance has changed me in so many positive ways. I was fortunate to have her as my therapist. Her feedback always gave me hope and taught me how to view things that I was unable to. I couldn't see beyond the bad no matter how hard I tried. My focus was always on the bad things. After each section, she had me seeing things in a different light. One that I have now captured and understand. I will always continue to remember all that she has taught me and how she has made me feel better about myself.

I went from hopeless to hopeful. I'm always looking back at the previous sections and reviewing them to see why and how I have changed

"This therapy program definitely helped me in my day to day interactions and greatly lessened my anxiety. As with any online program, the logging in and doing it can sometimes be difficult. I’m not sure if I had notifications turned off, but emails or text reminders would greatly help on the weeks where it would sometimes slip my mind. Definitely stick through the program. The end is the best part, takes more thought but it’s where you will start to feel change. I cried from relief as I completed the last worksheets and felt genuinely happy. I do very much hope that all my worksheets can be saved so I can go back and see my progress months from now. Special thanks to Lisa who was very patient and thorough in our interactions :)"

"I have to admit, i was not sure i would like this form of therapy. However, i have actually found it really helpful so far. The direct feedback on the worksheets/ messages you send to your therapist is really helpful, and i like that you don't have to wait for once a week session to discuss something. I also like how i can choose to do things at my own pace. For example, i have the feeling that i need to just take some time for self-care at the moment, and my therapist is helping me with that. Also, my therapist, Lisa Neuweg, is extremely empathic and supportive, which i feel is really helping my process at this time. "I would thoroughly recommend this course. I've only completed the free version so far and it's been a great help. I've done CBT twice before and although effective I've found that I didn't do enough worksheet work and journaling to tie in what I learnt from the face to face sessions. This course has addressed that exact shortcoming - I've written more in this course around my thoughts, feelings and behaviours into the structured CBT worksheets than I did in my last two sets of CBT courses combined. That's one set of 10 sessions and another of 12 sessions, so more than 22 sessions of CBT that cost £80 a session vs a free online course. I'll soon be upgrading to the standard membership so I can introduce a therapist to all my worksheets, journals and comments in all the parts of the course and it will be well worth the money to do that."

The only improvement I feel online-therapy.com could make would be to have the 1 on 1 session be either over the phone or video chat. A 30 minute text session is too slow to really get into anything too deeply. That being said, I believe the fact that I am getting daily feedback and from my makes up for my what I feel is a sub-par session. I went to traditional therapy many years ago for a different issue and I think online has been better for me to be honest. I would probably rate this 4.5 - 4.8 stars if i could due to the lack of video chat, but I did read they are in the process of implementing such a feature. When they do I will upgrade to 2 sessions a week. For now I don't see a real benefit to doing that.

I was a little skeptical at first about doing this online CBT programme but in the end was really pleased and found it well worthwhile. The videos and worksheets have been especially helpful.

I chose not to have live chats with my therapist, but I feel her written notes and encouragement to me were beneficial. I moved along a lot faster in the program over the course of a full month than the feedback I’ve gotten. To be fair, I did sessions 6-8 all this weekend, so she hasn’t had time to review. I was through session 5 by last weekend and devoted a lot of time to one part of the session and would love to have had comments through as far as I’d completed. My latest feedback at the end of this final week of my month-long subscription is still just through session 2. At least that’s all I can find. I have implemented and practiced all the suggestions and and completed all of the exercises except for one that I skipped on purpose. My current subscription expires in two days.

I wish there were a search feature for therapist feedback and maybe there is, but I don’t see one. It can be a little tedious going back to each worksheet to find something I want to comment on if I didn’t do it initially. I don’t care for the Action Plan calendar. It’s not user-friendly. I’d like to copy one day’s actions to another day without having to start over. It’s too time consuming. Some days I do the same things. The Notes app on my phone is a lot easier to use and I can record what I need to do with with audio.

I’m on the list to work with a local CBT specialist in my area. So, I signed up for this program to do in the interim while I was waiting for my first appointment with her. I’m not going to continue with the online program, but I’m grateful for it and for what I’ve learned and for the fact that it helped me learn about new ways to challenge my thinking and re-channel it to more positive thoughts that bring about better behavior. I will continue to use what I’ve learned, particularly journaling and re-directing my thinking. I already do yoga and meditate. I recommend giving this program a try if you’re not sure. I’d do it again."

"Well, online-therapy.com was able to help me identify the fact that I have been dealing with thought traps sixty-seven percent into the program. The two main thought traps are catastrophic thinking and extreme thinking. The sad thing is that the thinking is relevant to reality. This is why I documented everything. This is why I dialogue everything. This is why I do so via online GPS coordinates attached to smart devices, audio recordings, video surveillance, and research on those who have been wrapped up with derogatory records online.

I am not the same anymore because life is not the same anymore. This world we live in is not like the way I remember during my childhood innocence. It's changed drastically and I have experienced corruption. I experienced trauma and severe degrees of stress in the midst of the corruption. In matter of fact, I was scoring myself out with the Holmes and RaHe Social Readjustment Scale. I was scoring over 700 consistently for a prolonged period of time. Now isn't that alarming?!

Maybe this will all change by moving into the country. Maybe than I can focus on thinking about the birds and the bees in the pine trees. The many seas that this land divides and a garden to provide. Maybe than I will not have to worry about the mafia attempting to conquer and divide. Maybe I'll be able to focus on skinning a deer hide."

"I have completed the eight sessions of online cognitive behavior therapy with Maggie Sweet as my therapist. This was my first time with an online therapy. I have given the experience five stars because the program and its format met and exceeded my expectations.
One thing I did not expect was the reciprocal nature of the client/therapist interaction, as far as receiving messages on worksheets that I completed on my own time. In my previous (in person) therapy experiences, I would do my work on my own and meet with my therapist once a week or less. We didn’t have much more contact than that. That frequency of service worked for me, so having quick responses to my online work was something I had to adjust to. At first it felt pushy but I used the novelty of the experience to challenge my commitment to my goals in seeking therapy. So, in that way, my experience with Maggie exceeded my expectations.
The online format has so many advantages that the inherent problems seem minimal. One thing I would change is to have a way to easily download worksheets in a .pdf format, or possibly upload them to a cloud storage, if copyright is an issue. Also regarding the internet format, I had one live chat experience that was interrupted by what appeared to be a connectivity issue. I was allowed to make up that session.
I would recommend this service for persons who have the therapeutic needs described in the organization’s information."

"It has taken me four months to finish the program, and I was on the most basic subscription. I found the program to be helpful because almost everyday I was able to either write, or think about how my behavior, thoughts and emotions are related. I didn't need to wait for a weekly session, and I could continue on my progress anytime I wanted to. I overall found the responses short, but thought provoking. The therapist even shared stories for herself, which made me feel like I was writing to an actual human.

I mostly came to the online therapy for my bi-polar disorder, but was pleasantly surprised that this was not mentioned at all throughout the therapy sessions, besides at the very start of the program. I think I become too attached to that box that I and other put me in, and to realize that no matter what my diagnosis is, there are always things that are under my control to change. Even if they are small things.

I think the biggest tools that I took away is the importance of self care everyday, how to reevaluate thought assumptions that I have, ways to be more self confident and how to communicate with people I get offended by or disagree with.

The biggest changes I have seen so far in my life since starting the program is now I meditate and exercise almost everyday, and get 8ish hours of sleep. This has lessened my eating for comfort food habit. I have been able to stop and listen to the words in my head, and check the assumptions. I have been more volunterable with my friends and had deeper and more constant discussions then I had before. I was able to let me friend know that I was depressed one day, and she understood me, and did not judge me for it.

"I never thought such thing as online therapy would help after the traumatic experiences I had, I thought I would forever live in the past and never combat the problems I've been having for over a decade now, but I went for it anyway and it's been the best decision I ever made. "At the very beginning of this course, I had asked myself (as many other people do, I guess) if it was worth the money, as compared to a much more expensive course of sessions with a "live" therapist in the conventional way. I think it was obvious that generally one can expect better results with the latter, considering the more intimate environment of the one-on-one setting. But is it worth the heavier financial commitment? At the end of this course I still cannot give a definite answer, but I can at least identify the positive and negative aspects of this online course:

Positive: Real techniques are indeed learned and well explained for later use by the patient. Explanations of why these techniques work and how to use them are also very clear. Therefore the patient is indeed "richer" after the course.

Negative: The internet exchanges at the end of each worksheet with the therapist are sometimes laborious because of the long back and forth. It is often not clear that a good and clear communication, without misunderstandings, can be established that way. Weekly live chats with the therapist do help to some extent in this aspect."
