I believe everyone's life is a journey. We all travel on a road that is full of adventures. In times of uncertainty, we need a support system that will walk with us. I aim to become a member of my clients support team. It is my desire to assist those whose journeys have come to a fork and need help navigating forward.
My approach focuses on the client and their story. I believe therapy is difficult for some, therefore I try to put my clients at ease so they can get the greatest benefit from the therapeutic process. I have a passion to help people and my drive is seeing people succeed in life through motivation, empowerment and active listening skills.
I became a Licensed Professional Counselor over 15 years ago and I have been in private practice for the last three years. I am currently working towards a doctoral degree in Counseling Care and Traumatology. My goal is to learn how trauma affects the lifecycle so that I may be better able to assist those clients who have suffered various forms of trauma.
