,MA, LMFT, CCTP, CIMHP
Hi, I’m Joy Rabon, and I’m really glad you’re here.
With over 30 years of experience in a variety of mental health settings—ranging from public organizations to schools and private practice—I have a broad and diverse background that shapes the work I do today. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional. Throughout my career, I’ve focused on helping individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, and I understand that reaching out for support can be both challenging and brave.
While I've recently joined this platform, I’m not new to online counseling, coaching, and therapy. I chose this platform to connect with a broader, more diverse group of clients, and I value the flexibility it offers in providing support beyond traditional therapy. Together, we can work in a way that feels natural, grounded, and meaningful to you.
My approach blends practical tools with a whole-person perspective. I draw from evidence-based practices like CBT, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness, tailoring them to your unique needs and goals. This is a collaborative process, where we explore what’s going on in your life and how to move forward in a way that aligns with your values. I aim to create a space where you can feel heard, respected, and supported.
In addition to these therapeutic tools, I pay close attention to how stress, trauma, relationships, and even genetics may affect both your mind and body. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself in a sustainable, meaningful way that promotes healing and growth.
Clients often describe me as warm, intuitive, and down-to-earth, with a knack for offering fresh perspectives and creative solutions. If you’re looking for a space to feel more grounded, connected, and whole, I’d be honored to support you in your journey.
