Hi, I’m Joy Rabon—I'm really glad you’re here.
While I’m new to Online-Therapy.com, I’m not new to this work or to providing counseling, coaching, or therapy online. I came across this platform while looking for ways to connect with a more diverse group of clients, and I appreciate how it offers flexibility beyond traditional talk therapy. It allows us to work together in ways that feel natural, grounded, and meaningful to you.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist—but despite the title, I primarily work with individuals. My training means I consider the bigger picture: your relationships, environment, and how your life experiences shape the challenges you're facing today, even when you’re doing this work on your own.
In addition to my therapy license, I’m also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional. I work with adults who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or navigating painful experiences. You don’t need to have it all figured out before reaching out—I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to explore what’s going on and what might come next.
My approach blends practical tools with a whole-person perspective. I draw from evidence-based and holistic practices like CBT, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness—always tailored to your unique needs and values. This is a collaborative process, grounded in curiosity, respect, and care.
I also pay close attention to how stress, trauma, relationships, and even genetics can show up in your mind and body. My goal is to support you in reconnecting with yourself in sustainable, meaningful ways.
Over the past 30 years, I’ve worked in a variety of mental health settings—from public organizations, schools, and private practice which I currently independently own and operate. Clients often describe me as warm, intuitive, and down-to-earth, with a knack for offering insights that help them see things from new perspectives along with creative solutions they haven't considered before.
If you’re outside the U.S., please know I do my best to understand your local guidelines. In some cases, I may offer support in the form of coaching or life guidance rather than formal therapy.
If you’re looking for a space to feel more grounded, connected, and whole—I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
