I am happy you are here and look forward to supporting you in your journey of self-discovery, healing and growth! As you know, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California and Oregon). It is very important to me that you know me as a human being as well as a therapist. I am 41 years young and have been with my hubby since I was 20 years old. I have two children, my 19-year-old daughter... who is by far one of my favorite people. And my 9-year-old son... who is so funny and creative! I love animals of all kinds and own a small hobby farm with many two and four legged furry or feathered children! We have 4 dogs, 4 horses, 4 goats, 3 pigs, 3 sheep, 5 alpacas, 2 bunnies, 2 ducks and 6 chickens… oh yes and 1 bearded dragon! I love art, movies, nature, horseback riding, mountain biking, and exploring the outdoors. I have been told I am very authentic, genuine and compassionate... and I consider myself to be strong willed and stubborn at times. I am also a lifelong learner and I am constantly seeking out ways that I can be a better human being and how I can help others to be better as well.

And, a bit about who I am as a therapist… I have been in the mental health field for nearly 15 years and 10 of those have been in private practice working with individuals who struggle with trauma, abuse, loss, relationship issues, self-love deficiency, low self-esteem, or are feeling stuck or lost in life. I have been trained and use various therapeutic approaches including but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Emotionally-Focused, Trauma-Focused, Cognitive Processing, Motivational Interviewing, Solutions Focused, Attachment-Focused, Brainspotting, and even Art Therapy. I work with most ages and specialize in working with teens, woman and couples. Most of all, I feel blessed and really enjoy helping others to heal, learn and grow into the human being they desire to become.
