I am a solution focused, mindfulness oriented, relationship therapist. I am passionate about creating new models for delivery of relationship therapy via web-based technology and reimagining traditional psychotherapy delivery models in ways that remove barriers to access and reduce the stigma associated with emotional / cognitive suffering.

I have particular passion for helping couples in relationship distress. Many of the couples I work with come to therapy feeling lost in conflict cycles which they don't understand and desperately want to change. I understand how much courage it takes to reach out for help and to let another person get inside your relationship, especially when you are feeling hurt, discouraged, angry, or humiliated. I have extensive training and experience in couples therapy, including advanced training in both the Gottman Method and Emotion Focused Therapy. I understand that it takes courage to seek help and to let another person get inside your relationship, especially when you are feeling vulnerable and hurt. I have particular experience in supporting couples seeking to heal from infidelity or struggling with addiction and recovery.

In addition to my training and experience as psychotherapist, I have over three decades of experience in both for-profit and non-profit leadership as a coach, executive, business development and marketing strategist, board member, fundraiser, donor, volunteer, as well as pro bono marketing and brand consulting to numerous non-profits. I have served as national business director for a large, national firm and as the executive director of community-based non-profits serving the mentally ill, the homeless, and the dying.
