Although starting on this journey late in life and being persistent in making it a reality, practicing for 8 years, in person and virtual, has been a joy, but sessions or mostly done virtually. My master’s degree was earned at Capella University, and I am constantly reading and taking CEU training.
Do you frequently wake up anxious, or get anxious before doing presentations? Or do you feel sad and unmotivated? Let us meet and talk about it. You have not been able to pinpoint when the feelings started are why they will not go away. Life has many things for young adults, adults, older adults, individuals, and couples to experience and life’s circumstances can get overwhelming, but you do not have to stay overwhelmed. We will find ways to change your negative thinking and look at circumstances differently.
Therapy is your time to speak, but I will challenge you, ask probing questions, and encourage you to see negative thinking in a different way. Therapy can also motivate you to change, because change can be hard especially after working 8 to 40 hours or feeling stuck for years.
