I am a Gestalt-trained psychotherapist in St. Louis, Missouri currently serving patients in private practice. My areas of expertise involve grief and loss (whether it be a death/dying, medical diagnoses, life changes such as divorce or relocation), depression, family dynamics, relationship struggles and psychospiritual questions.

My focus is on the present "here and now" concerns and the processes that shape and direct our behavior, thoughts and emotions. Increasing one's self awareness and identifying HOW we assess and address inner and outer conflict allow for a careful self-mastery and increased feelings of managing one's environment. Allowing creativity and meaningful interaction in therapy assists us with having more "tools in the toolkit," especially for those repetitive scenarios that seem to occur.
I also suggest homework in between sessions so a patient can test the ideas from session to session and thus find the best fit for maximum etffectiveness.

I have a Master's degree in Social Work from St. Louis University, with certification in Gestalt Therapy (2 two-year program). Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2005.
