Let me begin by introducing myself! My name is Bridget Crochet and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. I obtained a Bachelor's in Social Work in 2002 from Northwestern State University and completed a Master's in Social Work in 2003 from Louisiana State University. I then moved to London, England in 2004 and stayed for approximately 4 1/2 years where I specialized in working within the Child Protective Services and Juvenile Services. I am fully licensed with the State of Louisiana and I've had over 15 years serving the population of adults and geriatrics in a psychiatric setting both inpatient and outpatient treating behavioral health issues although not limited to depression, anxiety, family and relationship conflict, substance abuse and trauma. Furthermore, I am employed part time with a local Adult Drug Court Program where I provide individual and group therapy related to relapse prevention and addiction. I am a LGBTQ ally and will always offer all clients of any nationality, gender, race, orientation, identity and religion a safe space to process their thoughts, feelings and experiences in order obtain the necessary and effective life skills and mechanisms to cope and improve everyday life. If you're looking for someone that is honest, compassionate and willing to meet you where you are in life than please reach out! Thank you for the opportunity to assist you on this incredible, challenging, and sometimes very difficult but mostly beautiful thing they call life.
