Bridget Crochet

Let me begin by introducing myself! My name is Bridget Crochet and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. I obtained a Bachelor's in Social Work in 2002 from Northwestern State University and completed a Master's in Social Work in 2003 from Louisiana State University. I then moved to London, England in 2004 and stayed for approximately 4 1/2 years where I specialized in working within the Child Protective Services and Juvenile Services. I am fully licensed with the State of Louisiana and I've had over 15 years serving the population of adults and geriatrics in a psychiatric setting both inpatient and outpatient treating behavioral health issues although not limited to depression, anxiety, family and relationship conflict, substance abuse and trauma. Furthermore, I am employed part time with a local Adult Drug Court Program where I provide individual and group therapy related to relapse prevention and addiction. I am a LGBTQ ally and will always offer all clients of any nationality, gender, race, orientation, identity and religion a safe space to process their thoughts, feelings and experiences in order obtain the necessary and effective life skills and mechanisms to cope and improve everyday life.
