I am Charles Zaglin a Trauma, Complex Trauma, and PTSD LPC with 20+ years of experience as a Traumatologist and over 55 years as a PTSD/Trauma survivor. My formal education was as an Undergrad at Georgia State University Class of 99 and as a Graduate Student at Georgia State University Class of 2003. As an undergrad I authored an Honor's Thesis looking at the Effects of Word variation in Jury Trial scenarios. During my academic carrer I engaged in working full time while maintaining the highest of G.P.A.'s and always being on the Deans list for academic achievment. During both my undergrad and graduate studies, I participated in numerous research studies in looking at the varying effect of PTSD/Trauma. I have done a year long internship at the Veterans Adminstration Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia in the PTSD Clinic. Also, I have worked at a variety of mental health facilities in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area and also have seen clients privately through the years. My style is empathic, eclectic, honest, humorous, and interactive. Together we will tailor a protocol to fit your needs. I believe in ACKNOWLEDGEMENT and ACCEPTANCE. With regards to PTSD and Trauma, I take on a three "C" approach. That being "Control, Courage, and Compassion." We will acknowledge your trauma without judgement, guilt, shame, fear, or self-blame and accept what happened but not let it identify or define you.
*Please note I require a 24 notice if you choose to cancel an appointment* I CAN ONLY WORK WITH CLIENTS WHOSE PRIMARY LOCATION IS IN GEORGIA U.S.A.
I look forward to our journey together!
