Dr. Christopher Bell
,PhD
I’m Dr. Chris Bell, a licensed psychologist with 18 years of experience in the mental health field, including 13 years serving in the U.S. Air Force. Throughout my career, I have worked with people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
My clinical specialties include depression, anxiety, PTSD, stress, grief, personality disorders, LGBTQ+ concerns, and sex or pornography-related concerns. As a sex-positive therapist, I provide a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly explore sensitive areas of their lives.
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with practical, solution-focused strategies. I am direct and honest while remaining compassionate and collaborative. My goal is to help clients gain insight, develop effective coping skills, and make meaningful changes both inside and outside of therapy.
I especially enjoy working with veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, and young adults. My background also includes extensive clinical research in sleep, PTSD, and traumatic brain injury. This experience informs my emphasis on healthy routines, quality sleep, self-care, and daily structure as essential foundations for long-term mental health and resilience.
Above all, I strive to provide a supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and prepared to move forward with greater confidence.
