Hello and welcome!! My name is Danni and I am a 26-year veteran in the field, have two current/active state licenses in Wisconsin (LPC, SAC). I am versed and/or have obtained certifications in multiple, evidence-based modalities/approaches, treatments. To name a few: CBT, DBT, ACT, TF-CBT, MI, OCD/ERP, Chronic Pain and Illness, SMART Recovery/AODA, Group Therapies, Family Centered/Person center/Trauma informed. Areas of interest include brain spotting, EMDR, etc.

I try to acclimate any and all of what I had learned through my education and clinical experience to apply in sessions. Due to the wide array of modalities that I am able to draw from, I can easily (ecliptically) apply evidence based treatments beyond assessment, tailoring treatment on a case by case basis while building rapport and creating the safe space that I have found to be essential for clients/families to be able to take risks and lean into vulnerability. It is also important to note that I have done a lot of corrections work in my career which has afforded me the opportunity to experience what serious and persistent mental health concerns, the impact that addiction has, In addition to what other mental health diagnosis looks like in real time, which has helped me to be able to quickly recognize what is happening on a case by case basis. apply the proper diagnosis and evidence-based treatments. Additionally, crisis work has always been a part of my professional journey, and I believe I am as “comfortable” as one can be in managing care and assessment during crisis situations.

In using these approaches, I have seen many patients make significant gains by building awareness, leaning into acceptance, and developing lasting skills that empower growth and healing. It is an absolute privilege to do this work- so thankful for the faith individuals have in allowing me to partner in this journey with them and theirs- especially in the wake of many feeling that they have nowhere else to turn. With that said, there is no one that I will not work with. If somebody needs help and I am able, I want to help.
