Hello!
My name is DaVaughn Jackson. I’m a licensed Therapist serving clients In Illinois and Missouri. I completed my Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling in 2003 at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. I’ve worked in various psychiatric settings- agencies, hospitals, jails and group homes, but most enjoy this virtual environment.

I am passionate about outpatient online therapy as a method to provide mental health support to individuals struggling at a low to mild level of distress.

I believe that therapy is just a conversation all about you getting your needs met; and that process doesn’t have to take forever. My role is to assist you in coming to your own rescue to reach your desired outcome in the various issues faced. I’m literally working myself out of a job!

I follow Solution Focused Brief Therapy which holds the client as the authority of their lives. As such, I’m to follow your lead as you teach me to be your therapist. Out of the two of us, who knows you best? With that being said, I must listen and pose questions that require you to dig deeper and visualize the changes you want to experience in your life.

I’m here to help you, not fix you as I don’t have all the answers. I do believe in you and your ability to attain the outcomes you desire. Let’s see if we’re a good fit on your journey!
