My name is Donna and I am a BACP registered and qualified counsellor based in London, however I my clients come from all over the world. As a registered member of the BACP I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for counsellors. I am fully insured and hold an up-to-date DBS.
My training enables me to explore your experiences with you in a safe and individual way, to reflect and help you find new understanding, perspective and emotional resources. Whether it is something recent that you are struggling to come to terms with, or and more complex seep routed issue I am here to listen and help you unravel the ties holding you back. I work online and remotely.
As an Integrative psychotherapist and counsellor my approach is collaborating five schools of thought, giving you space and Insite with offering you support with life pathways or complex issues, I will facilitate a safe confidential environment that is non-judgmental and governed by yourself.
often people come to therapy not knowing what's wrong just a gut feeling that something is amiss is a valid starting point. Effective therapy hinges on a trusting and secure therapeutic relationship, providing a safe and confidential space to explore challenging experiences, emotions, and thoughts. Current difficulties may stem from past traumas and relationships, explaining why a present crisis might feel confusing or why you might find yourself repeating unproductive patterns of relating. My areas of expertise encompass a broad spectrum of concerns, including but not limited to: abuse, anxiety, bereavement, depression, health issues, loss, personal development, PTSD, self-harm, stress, and work-related challenges. Furthermore, my experience extends to ADD/ADHD, addictions, AIDS/HIV, autism spectrum disorders, cancer, child-related issues, chronic fatigue syndrome, cultural considerations, disability, eating disorders, identity issues, menopause, men’s health issues, mood disorders, neurodiversity, obsessive-compulsive disorders, phobias, and relationship concerns. Additional areas of proficiency include self-esteem, sexual health issues, sexual identity, sexuality, spirituality, trauma, and women’s health issues.
