"How can I sum up my review of Edward de la Loza in one tiny box?! He's brilliant, easy to talk to, he's never once asked me.. "Well, how does that make you feel"?? And that's a great thing!! He goes beyond feeling's, into the heart and mind, to what's truly going on. The meat of the matter.
I love his examples of A + B= C. Well, if you don't like the outcome of C, let's change A or B or both. Fantastic. Something I can use. Something concrete to actually change my path, or the freeway I'm on ๐. Take the off ramp and go in a different direction. And he doesn't leave it there. He SHOWS you how to get off the freeway that isn't working, how to get on the off ramp, and then what to do from there. Steps I can write down that have results. And then he'll follow up on those results the following session. To see if they worked, or do I need another direction to go in. Do I need to tweak things around?
He's basically your guide. He helps you see the trees despite the forest. Eventually we'll get thru the forest, but he'll guide you through the trees of life first, the trees of symptoms. Not by how you feel but how it's working for you.
Such depth, such compassion from him. I literally can't say enough. His mind is brilliant and his style is fantastic.
I needed Edward when I was a teen, back in the late 80's. But he's helping me make up for lost time, and helping me through the trauma of my youth!! ๐ฏ
You can't fail with Edward as your guide, and therapist! You owe it to yourself to set up an appointment and get ready for positive changes, even in your first session. ๐ And Edward makes it easy for all types of people to see him, through options on-line, email, group, individual etc etc. If you breathe, you'll be able to see him in some format that works for you and your lifestyle. Go for it!! You can't loose with Edward! His mind
is brilliant and it's refreshing to see a therapist who doesn't just take notes and ask how I feel about something!! Thank goodness!! ๐ฏ๐"
