I graduated with a Master degree in counseling in 2003. Since that time, I have worked in various mental health setting. I spent four years working individuals suffering fro. addiction. I worked two years at a mental health center. However, for the most part, I have worked with at risk youths and their families. I am currently the Clinical Director at a residential treatment facility. I have been in at this facility for almost nine years.
My therapeutic approach is CBT. However, I also have worked providing TFCBT to individuals dealing with trauma. I am very honest and it is always my pure intentions to help those in my care.
‘I am compassionate, empathetic, and a great listener. My primary goal is to help client develop coping strategies to deal with the problems they may be experiencing, such as anxiety, depression, anger, and past traumatic events.
I feel I am good working with individuals, families, and in group settings. I have worked with individuals from various ethnic groups. My 20 years of active duty in the United States Army provided me that wonderful experience.
I am looking forward to working at Online-therapy.

"Overall the services have been great.
I ended up switching therapists near the beginning and found my perfect match. I love that you can do that. I love that you can see people’s availability before switching to make sure they work with your schedule. My therapist is down to earth, acknowledges my experiences and feelings and then provides strategies or actionable tips to try to help me through it and it’s been exactly what I need.
As for the other aspects, I’m one of those people who loves worksheets, so all the worksheets they have you do were helpful. It also helped me feel like I could express what was going on so my therapist already knew and we could get to what I really need help with during our sessions."
