I have been a therapist for over 20 years. Im trained in trauma informed humanistic therapies. I am openly LGBTQ+ and have a huge amount of experience working with clients struggling with both addictive behaviors and emotional disorders.
I seek to help build resiliency skills and find strengths to solve problems. I use a variety of modalities to find a path best suited to the client's needs. I believe everyone can grow and change with help and support.
I specialize in life stage issues, mood disorders, trauma, addictive behaviors in substance and process addiction like gambling, gaming, shopping, or sex to name a few. I also work with those with co-occurring medical issues like organ failure. I work with veterans and their families as well both pre during and post deployment.
I also work with seniors struggling with life stage issues.
I am a social worker by training and am finishing my phd as well. I have extensive training and certification as a telehealth practitioner. I am licensed in Arizona, New York, and North Carolina currently.
