My goal is to, "help people learn to help themselves" by providing support, psycho-education, CBT and solution based therapy. I believe gaining insight regarding one's thoughts and feelings is the first step toward understanding our behaviors and promoting positive change. People have the capacity to learn and grow when provided the right tools, resources, and insight. My career spans 30+ years to include acute inpatient psychiatric hospitals, geriatric care, adolescent and adult clients, and residential programs. I was fortunate to be the Team Leader for a specialized home based program serving populations with schizoaffective, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorders. This service allowed me the opportunity to meet clients where they are in their own environment and without judgment. I have been blessed with great mentors over the years and would greatly appreciate an opportunity to share my experience with you.
