I am a proactive, and motivated Counselor with a desire to improve mental health functioning in clients who present with trauma, anxiety, and depression. I believe that empathy and genuine concern are critical in developing a therapeutic relationship of trust with clients.

With this population I have come to learn, it is essential to create a safe space where clients can feel comfortable to share their experiences. The goal is to identify trauma triggers and help the client ultimately develop appropriate coping mechanism that will enhance their ability to function in their everyday lives.
