I have been a licensed therapist in Florida since 2001 and a Certified Addictions Professional since 2012. I also recently became licensed in Utah. I have worked in the mental health field since 1997, with areas to include crisis awareness and management, clinical supervision, individual/group/family therapy, and clinical oversight. I have held positions to include psychotherapist for teens and adults, clinical supervisor, auditor of clinical records, and regional director of mental health/substance abuse services for AMIkids, Inc., in Florida. I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Counseling/Psychology. I have been trained in areas to include Trauma Focused-CBT, EMDR, and Aggression Replacement. I ventured into private practice in 2019 when I joined a group practice. I set out on my own in 2021. I enjoy CBT and also talk therapy. I treat clients like actual people and talk to them as such in order to allow them to feel comfortable while working on whatever issues are troubling for them.
