Hi, my name is Lucy. Thanks for considering me as your therapist. A good fit with your therapist is essential to getting better. I hope getting to know me helps. I like to spend time hiking, and walking my dog. I like being in nature. I've been a therapist in hospital and intensive outpatient settings in the past. For the last 4 years I've been an online therapist only. It can be very hard to come into therapy and talk about difficult issues. I'm here to help not judge. I have a lot of respect for anyone who is willing to improve their life, and look at their own issues. I work closely with my clients to find what is right for them, and help them reach goals they set. My style is solution focused, but also humanistic. We will talk about beliefs and thoughts, and how they impact your world today. We will go at a pace that is right for you, and help you decide if change will help the situation you are struggling with, and what changes are right for you. I rely on you to decide what is best for you. I hope I get to meet you soon!
