In 1966, I graduated high school in the NYS regents program, from Corning Painted Post West High School, Painted Post, NY, attended Clarks Summit University and graduated with a B.A from Elmira College, a private liberal arts college in Elmira, NY, in 1970. In 1990, I graduated Shippensburg University, in Shippensburg, PA, with an M.S. in Community Counseling, and was certified that same year with the NBCC. Worked as a Behavioral Specialist for 11 years at Northwest Human Services, Carlisle, PA, with at-risk children & teens. Have since been in private practice since October, 1990, offering client-centered therapy for at-risk teens, adults and marriages. My counseling modality lies in the areas of faith-based wellness and CBT.
Interventions are based on what is considered to be best-practice for the issues presented. I believe that people are not compartmentalized beings; body, soul and spirit are integrated and interactive aspects of life and each can significantly influence a person's thought life, feelings, and behaviors.
