I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. I have counseling experience in working with individuals as well as couples, helping clients to address relationship issues, family conflicts, & trauma and abuse. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
I received my LPC in 2003 after obtaining my master's degree in counseling psychology, which I obtained in 1994. Over the years, I've gained expertise in helping individuals recover from narcissistic abuse, depression and anxiety, as well as general marital and relationship issues. Additionally, I have facilitated support groups for narcissistic abuse survivors, offering them a safe and empathetic environment to heal.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, with a strong emphasis on empathy, acceptance, and nonjudgmental support. I believe that every individual has the innate capacity for growth and healing. In my practice, I strive to create a safe and compassionate space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of judgment.
My philosophy centers on fostering hope and understanding. I believe that through self-exploration, individuals can discover their strengths and develop the resilience needed to overcome life's challenges. I draw from my expertise in narcissism to help clients heal from past wounds and build healthier relationships with themselves and others.
