Martha Manning

I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology from The University of South Carolina in 2013, and graduated from the Graduate school of The University of South Carolina with an Educational Specialist degree, majoring in Marriage and Family therapy.

I studied under several different therapists with various theories and techniques. These theories include Gestalt, Experiential, Psychoanalytic theory, and Murray Bowen’s Family system’s theory.

My main interventions stem from Murray Bowen’s family system’s theory, as I come from a large and blended family. I am well versed in Person Centered theory and CBT. I have lived through multiple experiences in my personal life that make me relatable and well rounded in different life circumstances. I have been married and divorced. I am a single mother with a 13 year old daughter. I know what it’s like to lose a parent to Cancer, as well as, multiple other life experiences that have led me to a loving career as a therapist and guidance to others.

I love to work, and I love people. I believe I can make a great addition to your team, and would be honored.
