About Me

My Background

After 15 years as a clinical psychologist, I've learned that every person's story is unique. I trained in the US, where I earned my master's and doctorate, and developed a versatile approach to therapy that draws from different methods to best serve each client. I'm well-versed in CBT, psychodynamic therapy, and person-centered approaches, along with psychological assessment.

How I Help

I work with people of all ages – from kids to adults – and offer sessions in both English and Czech. Over the years, I’ve helped clients navigate everything from anxiety and OCD to depression, relationship challenges, autism spectrum disorders, trauma, and stress. I have a particular passion for supporting people dealing with chronic illness, helping both patients and their families cope with the emotional toll it can take.

My office is a judgment-free zone where everyone is welcome. I deeply value working with people from all backgrounds, cultures, and orientations, and I believe that diversity makes our work together richer.

Building Trust Together

The heart of good therapy is trust. I've seen time and again how a strong therapeutic relationship can make all the difference in healing. Taking that first step to reach out for help takes real courage, and I honor that by listening deeply, offering thoughtful feedback, and always maintaining strict confidentiality. I'll explain things clearly and make sure you understand each step of our work together.

I adapt my approach to fit what works best for you, drawing from different therapy methods while staying mindful of your cultural background and personal experiences. This helps us create a treatment plan that really fits who you are and what you need.

Our Collaborative Journey

Think of therapy as a partnership. We'll explore what's troubling you and look at how you've been coping. Sometimes the ways we learn to handle tough situations serve us well at first but cause problems later on. Together, we'll figure out which coping strategies are helping you and which ones might need updating. We'll work on building your self-understanding, strengthening your relationships, improving how you communicate, and finding relief from whatever's bothering you.

I'm here to support you on this journey whenever you're ready to begin.
