Mary STICH

Hi, I am Maryanne Stich, a license independent substance abuse counselor. I know if you are struggling with any type of addiction or have a family member affected with addiction it can be a difficult journey and many times are accompanied with co occurring disorders including depression, anxiety, trauma and grief. In my life I was faced with a family member that struggled with addiction and I truly wanted to understand it and help, so I went back to school for my second Masters degree in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2013. I found through my Internships that I loved working in the field.

I believe everyone has the potential to change. I will meet my client (you) exactly where you are at in your journey with no judgment, to support and guide you through this process using cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing skills and overall, being genuine and authentic so you can get back to living an awesome life!

I became the lead Therapist for 7 years at an adolescent substance abuse intensive outpatient program three nights a week that worked with both the teens and their families. I also started doing individual therapy for teens and young adults that were faced with addiction. I then transitioned to a full Drug Rehabilitation treatment center for 1 1/2 years which included clients from Residential treatment down to outpatient treatment levels of care. I learned from my fellow therapists and clients and valued the experience. I have recently stepped into Private Practice and have been working with my clients that are dealing with addiction. This includes individual, couples, and family counseling.

I am an avid fitness enthusiast, mom of three successful young adults and owner of a Golden Retriever named Remington.
