I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years experience helping individuals manage depression, anxiety and life's challenges. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness and self care strategies, I help clients identify stressors and develop strategies for lasting change. I previously worked in a hospital setting for 23 years, providing the needed support for my patients during their hospitalization and then arranging appropriate aftercare upon their discharge. During Covid, I found that my skills could reach many individuals in need, using the remote telehealth format. Since that time the remote experience has opened up access for those individuals whom may not have not sought support before. Some of my clients felt more comfortable holding sessions on the phone rather than by video which made access easier for them. My approach is warm, collaborative and practical, focusing on building resilience and balance. I offer remote therapy sessions by video or telephone for your convenience.
