Dr. Misty Brady-Lee

Hello I Misty Brady-Lee. I am a Virginia and Texas State Licensed Professional Counselor. I hold an Associate of Arts degree, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Doctorate Degree in Advanced Studies.

I have over 7 years of experience working as a mental health and a family crisis counselor.I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, self esteem, perfectionism, bipolar, ADHD, relationship issues, family crisis issues., trauma and abuse. I have also provided non-medical counseling to military service members and their families.

Mental wellness is more than just mental, it is multidimensional and includes other dimensions such as physical, emotional, spiritual, social, environmental and occupational. Which means that if you are neglecting one or more of these areas in your life you may be at risk for developing mental illness. Maintaining your mental wellness can have numerous positive effects, to include less stress, anxiety, and depression as well as provide you with a greater sense of well-being.

I provide a warm caring environment so you can feel comfortable opening up. My therapeutic approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, motivational and client-centered therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your specific needs and abilities.
