I feel deeply grateful and honored to work as a therapist. One of the most rewarding aspects of this work is witnessing clients grow, heal, and move closer to the lives they want to create. I believe that meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship. By approaching each client with openness, curiosity, and genuine non-judgment, I am often able to build trust quickly. Through that trust, we create a safe space for exploration, insight, and lasting change.
I place the therapeutic relationship at the center of my work. While I draw from several evidence-based modalities, I believe that every client is unique and deserves an individualized approach. My formal training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). I use practical CBT strategies to help clients identify and change unhelpful patterns, while IFS helps clients develop greater compassion and understanding toward different parts of themselves.
I also incorporate mindfulness, somatic awareness, and body-based approaches into my work. As a trained yoga instructor, I often help clients develop greater awareness of their emotional and physical experiences. Together, we may explore where emotions are felt in the body, build emotional regulation skills, and cultivate a stronger connection between mind and body.
AEDP has also strongly influenced my practice. This approach encourages slowing down and paying close attention to a client’s moment-to-moment emotional experience. By helping clients stay connected to their feelings in a safe and supportive environment, deeper healing and transformation can occur.
My professional background, combined with a wide range of life experiences, allows me to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and strive to create an inclusive, welcoming environment where clients feel seen, understood, and respected.
It is a privilege to walk alongside people during some of the most important moments of their lives. I bring compassion, authenticity, cultural awareness, and clinical expertise to my work, and I would be honored to contribute these strengths as a member of the Online-Therapy team.
