,LCSW-R
I am a certified CBT therapist through The Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies and an experienced ACT therapist, with many years of both clinical practice and teaching at the graduate level. My approach is collaborative, structured, and goal-focused, helping clients clarify what matters most to them and apply evidence-based tools such as thought records, behavioral experiments, and chain analysis. In my ACT work, I teach skills such as mindfulness, defusion from unhelpful thoughts, values clarification, and committed action, so clients can respond more flexibly to life’s challenges and build lives aligned with their core values. I value respect, empowerment, and cultural responsiveness, and I ensure therapy is trauma-informed and personally relevant. With over a decade of experience supporting clients and training future therapists, and providing clinical supervision, I bring clarity, empathy, and adaptability to my work, with the ultimate goal of helping people reduce distress, strengthen resilience, and live more meaningful lives.

"I have to say, using online-therapy has been extremely beneficial for my life. I am a busy grad student and healthcare worker who has been dealing with a lot of anxiety around my line of work and my daily responsibilities of someone who works/goes to school full time. My therapist and I tackled the root of the anxiety and focused on strategies of things I can do when I am feeling overwhelmed. Overall, i feel like I have become a more calm person. I think of my emotions before I react. I journal, I deep breathe. These are all habits I have learned through therapy, and I am so grateful to online-therapy for having a platform that makes therapy easily accessible."

"When I stalled out working with a traditional therapist, I thought I'd try this.
It's been very helpful to give awareness of the actual messages in my head, and how to answer/counter them.
Now, instead of talking over and over about how my childhood experiences cause me problems, I have some tools to help move beyond them. Thank you!"
