Within the past year, I moved to a small community in Utah. I have found myself looking for more in the evenings. I enjoy my career and I have been able to assist a great number of clients to make progress in their lives. I want to do more, but I also do not want the burden of setting up a private practice in this area as I may not stay in this area long term.

I was raised in Michigan and went through a number of personal trials there. I moved to Utah in search of greater experience in the area of sexual abuse/perpetration treatment and ended up staying. I raised my six kids in this area. I have three and adopted three. They are a wonderful group of Asperger's Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety, ADHD, and others. It has been a challenge, but a joy to raise them.

Over the past 30 plus years, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals, families, adolescents, adults, male and female, in a number of settings. Some faced some major disabilities and others large hurdles, but with a level of hope we pushed through. I am an eclectic clinician, but I rely highly on CBT, DBT, ACT, REBT, and related training. This has served me in community agencies, overseeing group homes for the disabled, educating parents on how to raise difficult adolescents, addressing adoption issues and broken families, and Native American community difficulties, to name a few.

I have so much more to give and would treasure the opportunity to do so.
