Roseli Roberto
,MSC
I help clients improve their lives by combining evidence-based psychological interventions with a compassionate, realistic understanding of their personal and social contexts. My work focuses on helping individuals develop insight into their emotional patterns, understand the cognitive and behavioural cycles that maintain their difficulties, and build practical skills that lead to meaningful and sustainable change.
Clinically, I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to support clients in understanding anxiety, depression, trauma responses, and long-standing relational patterns. I help them identify unhelpful thinking styles, reduce avoidance, and gradually face situations that reinforce fear or helplessness through structured exposure and behavioural activation. This allows clients to regain a sense of control, confidence, and emotional stability.
I place strong emphasis on emotional regulation, self-compassion, and personal responsibility. Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed, emotionally neglected, or stuck in people-pleasing roles. I help them develop healthier boundaries, improve communication, and recognise their own needs without shame or self-criticism.
I also address lifestyle factors that significantly influence mental health, such as sleep, nutrition, routines, and physical activity. By supporting clients in making small, realistic adjustments in these areas, they often experience improvements in mood, energy, and resilience alongside therapeutic progress.
What differentiates my approach is the integration of clinical expertise with lived experience. Having personally experienced severe depression, loss, and physical illness, I bring genuine empathy and understanding to the therapeutic relationship. Clients often report feeling truly seen and understood, which strengthens engagement and trust.
Ultimately, my goal is not only symptom reduction but empowerment. I help clients move from emotional survival to self-awareness, self-respect, and informed decision-making, enabling them to build lives that feel more stable, meaningful, and aligned with their values.
