I love people and want to see them live an Abundant Life (which is the name of my private practice). I have been serving the metro Detroit area for over 25 years. I have undergraduate and graduate degrees in Psychology and Counseling.

I have been called to walk alongside people to provide hope, help, and healing. Everyone needs someone in their life who is willing to listen confidentially with compassion and give input that is non-judgemental. I am that person; a counselor who cares and helps clients think through options, life choices and make decisions that improve the quality of their lives. I am actively involved in local, national and global issues providing trauma training, crisis counseling, and intervention. I am a counselor, coach, mentor, conference speaker, professor, global humanitarian, award-winning radio personality and author.

I am the president of a national black counseling organization and founding member of an international Christian counseling organization. I serve as expert talent on several video-based training programs including DivorceCare, GriefShare, Domestic Violence, Parenting, and Racial Reconciliation. My areas of specialty include relationship counseling (communication, conflict, adultery, sexuality), stress and burn-out, addiction (gambling and sex), anger management, anxiety, depression, and working with corporate executives.
