I have currently have a Master of Rehabilitation Counseling degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center (LSUHSC), and a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation & Disability Studies from Southern University A & M college. I have over 9 years of experience providing services at for-profit, non-profit, and state vocational rehabilitation agencies working with individuals with disabilities, underserved minorities, and communities. I have experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults within the mental health field.

My therapy approach is integrative, and collaborative in nature. I integrate concepts, techniques, and interventions from various research-based theories to tailor treatment that meets the needs of each client. Some of these include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness based interventions. I also provide clients with tailored treatment plans that can be integrated into their daily lives. I believe counseling is an individual journey that may help clients reach their personal goals, overcome struggles, and empower them to better themselves.
