My Philosophy
I primarily utilize CBT; I have advanced training in DBT and ACT. I am person centered and mindfulness based.
My Education
I received my masters degree from Maryville University in St. Louis MO. This was in 2006 and I graduated with a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling. I have a graduate certificate from University of Massachusetts Lowell in forensic criminology.
My Work
For the past years I have been working as an online psychotherapist. I started providing online psychotherapy in 2017.
Prior to that I worked for the University of Missouri; from 2016 to 2020. I worked in an outpatient psychiatry department as a psychotherapist. I saw clients for outpatient therapy and was a supervisor leading medical residents in there rotation when they took on psychotherapy.
Over the years I have worked in a variety of setting from outpatient, to inpatient to even providing psychotherapy in the Missouri prison systems. My work experience is long and diverse.
