Sharon Esters

Hello. My name is Sharon Esters and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor for the State of Texas.

I’ve had the privilege of counseling clients outside of the United States. My goal is to work from home and continue to provide excellent services to the clients in the United States and around the world.

I earned my master’s degree in professional counseling in 2015 from Grand Canyon University. I started my career with The Harris Center: Mental Health as a case manager. My duties were to travel throughout Houston to complete assessments, treatment plans, individual and family sessions. After passing the NCE, I worked for Gateway Foundation (a residential center) in 2016-2017 as a Cognitive Behavioral Counselor. I completed my practicum at Intracare North Hospital PHP where I conducted individual and group sessions from 2017-2019. After I became fully licensed, I worked for Journey Through Life from 2019 until the pandemic. I traveled throughout Houston conducting assessments, treatment plans, individual and family sessions in schools and at the client’s home. In May of 2020, I was hired to work as a Military Life Family Counselor at Lackland AFB where I provided individual, couples and family counseling sessions, presentations and briefings.
