Taylor Young (He/Him/His)
,LMFT, PhD Candidate
I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lee University and currently I am a doctoral student at East Carolina University. As my full-time job, I predominantly work with primary care physicians to give patients a holistic, integrated perspective on their health in Grand Junction, CO.
By using Narrative Therapy, Logotherapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and other therapy styles I aim to help individuals live as their best selves and aid individuals in realizing their best health in a holistic manner. I do this by utilizing the lens of Biopsychosocial-Spiritual health in therapy and taking a holistic lens to your overall therapy goals. In the spirit of holistic health. Additionally, I have experience in couples counseling, family, individual counseling, and in providing support to individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community. I also have experience in supporting those with cancer or chronic pain and those who suffer from anxiety and panic attacks.
Lastly, I have extensive experience in giving support to those who are exploring their own spirituality. I have given therapy to spiritual leaders, and those re-exploring their spirituality in an inclusive manner. I aim to aid clients with a plethora of spiritual topics and issues.
Overall I love therapy and what I can offer my clients. I hope to empower you to make the changes that you want to make and live the life that you want to live!!
