I work with clients and help them identify barriers that are keeping them from reaching their fullest potential. I help them overcome these barriers by building upon their strengths, using positive supports, learning coping skills and helping them take the necessary steps to improve their lives. This can be accomplished by exploring the past or even by looking at what is taking place right now. Once we are able to identify what is holding us back we are able to break down that wall.
Empathy without judgement is most important and establishing a healthy therapeutic relationship is necessary to help all clients reach their goals. I have an extensive background (10+ years) working with adults on anxiety, depression and stressful life situations. I will provide support and help clients build upon their own values and beliefs while working to help them identify what changes they may need to make in their lives to feel complete and successful. We all have potential we just need to learn how to tap into our strengths to excel.
