Hello,
My name is Tom Hill Licensed Clinic Social Worker based in Sacramento, California. I am currently working statewide with clients via telehealth.
I have experience working with individuals young adults, couples and families. I have been licensed since 2012. My therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral. Helping and supporting the client in making the connections between thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I also look at attachment theory in regards to supporting those struggling in relationships. These modalities help me and the client build a shared understanding of their reality and allow of=us to work together to chart a path forward.
I decided to become a therapist because I have always enjoyed helping people throughout life. Whether it was a peer at school, a teammate on a sports team or a trusted and loyal friend. I have been naturally drawn to helping people develop tools and perspective to help get through difficult times. I enjoy seeing individuals become the best version of themselves. I look forward to talking with you in the future.
