I graduated from the University of Phoenix with my Master's in Clinical Counseling Mental Health in 2019. I became fully licensed as an independent therapist in September 2023. Between my internships, becoming an Associate, and being Licensed I have provided counseling services to various populations. I have gained experience by working at a homeless shelter, rehab, a sexual rehabilitation unit at a behavioral facility, a virtual private practice, and a clinic where I provide teletherapy. I began working in teletherapy in 2022 and love it. I believe teletherapy is a start to helping end the stigma of mental health and therapy. I come from a diverse family and I am an allied LGBTQ, equality, and social justice advocate. As a therapist, my overall philosophy to help end the stigma in mental health is to provide my clients with a unique individual treatment that meets their needs. I treat my clients as people and not patients, within ethical boundaries. I show understanding, compassion, support, and kindness to help my clients develop in their journey to self-growth and self-enhancement.
