Tonya Grissom Tatroe

My name is Tonya and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been providing clinical counseling for the last 15 years, mostly to adolescents and their families. I have enjoyed various roles during my career including being a school based therapist, a supervisor, working in a dual diagnosis treatment center, providing therapy to high risk adults in a lock down facility, military counseling, and a few others.

I am a hard working individual and that believes a good work/life balance is the key to long term happiness. I practice daily coping skills that has created an overall positive state of well being for my family and myself. I am experienced in various levels of mental health issues Including behavioral, cognitive, and reality based issues. My professional therapeutic approach is reality based with cognitive reference In which I believe helping the Individual identify real life goals and proactive steps to reach those goals will increase their sense of well being and overall mental health.
