I have over 15 years experience working with children, youth, parents, families and adults and have supported a wide range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, OCD, emotion regulation, anger management, relationship challenges, life changes and transitions, self esteem, life stressors, and parenting challenges.
I strongly believe in the cognitive behavioural therapy approach and that the things we think and say to ourselves in our minds has enormous impact on how we feel and how we are able to conduct ourselves. When we are able to recognize our unhelpful thinking and balance it out with more realistic, positive, helpful thoughts we can and do feel a lot better! That’s one of the reasons why I’ve chosen to be part of online-therapy.com and help people learn the tools strategies associated with CBT. So that you can gain more control over your thoughts and feelings and feel that you have some agency in impacting your day-to-day ability to feel better.
